The End of privatization, the effects on economic development and unemployment in Serbia
On 4 February 2010, in the organization of the IES and the Alliance of Independent Unions of Serbia (AIUS), the scientific gathering: "The End of Privatization, the Effects on Economic Development and Unemployment in Serbia" was held at the Institute. The participants were the representatives of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the state bodies dealing with privatization, the representatives of employers and trade unions, executives, university professors, researchers, and public workers.
Prof. Dr. Dejan Erić, Director of IES, and Ljubisav Orbović, President of AIUS, welcomed the guests and participants. Rasim Ljajić, Minister of Labor and Social Policy, informed the participants about the efforts of the Serbian government to solve the current problems associated with privatization.
