Project and Knowledge Transfer Office
The Project and Knowledge Transfer Office (PKTO) serves as the central institutional unit supporting researchers in the preparation, submission, implementation, and promotion of projects at the Institute of Economic Sciences. It was established with the aim of strengthening the project culture, increasing the Institute’s competitiveness in national and international funding programs, and enhancing the visibility and applicability of scientific results.
Mission
Through professional, technical, and organizational support, the Office enables researchers to more effectively access funding opportunities, develop high-quality project proposals, establish partnerships, and apply research results in practice—contributing to economic and social development.
Key Activities
- Informing researchers about current national and international funding opportunities
- Providing advisory support in developing project ideas and preparing applications
- Assisting in identifying partners and establishing collaborations
- Organizing training sessions, info events, and mentoring support
- Supporting project implementation and administrative monitoring
- Facilitating knowledge transfer and potential commercialization of research results
Objective
The Office aims to foster an enabling environment in which project work becomes an integral part of the Institute’s scientific excellence, with a strong focus on sustainability, relevance, and societal impact.
