    • BIMUN is organized by the United Nations Association of Serbia. The project team made out of of successful students of humanities, best participants from previous BIMUN conferences. “BIMUN 2008” Project will be accomplished in four phases: preparatory activities, BIMUN conference, Follow-up activities and “BIMUN Plus” project (policy paper).

    Participants of the conference will be approximately 160 (130 delegates and 30 members of the students team an volunteers) coming from over 20 countries.

    The main goal of the BIMUN Project is to have students practically get familiar with mechanism of international cooperation and basic diplomatic approach: negotiations, peaceful conflict solutions, dialogue, compromise, consensus and to understand the importance of UN role in contemporary world.. The participants will work in the teams of two delegates, presenting chosen country, different to their own.

    In the Institute of Economic Sciences, the simulation of the UN Security Council session will take place on the topic “The Risk of Nuclear Proliferation: Situation in Iran\".

    BIMUN 2008

    BIMUN-Beogradski međunarodni model UN 2008 je međunarodna omladinska konferencija, peta po redu, koja simulira rad organa UN na sledeće teme:

    • SAVET BEZBEDNOSTI UN: „Rizik od širenja nuklearnog oružja: situacija u Iranu“
      GENERALNA SKUPŠTINA – VI Odbor: „Jačanje uloge Ujedinjenih nacija – revitalizacija Generalne skupštine“
      SAVET ZA LJUDSKA PRAVA: „Prava izbeglica i interno raseljenih lica na Zapadnom Balkanu“
      UNESKO KOMITET ZA SVETSKU BAŠTINU: „Zaštita svetske baštine i održivi razvoj“
      Plenarni forum BIMUN-a: „Globalna akcija u vezi sa klimatskim promenama“
      BIMUN organizuje Udruženje za Ujedinjene nacije Srbije. Projektni tim su činili uspešni studenti humanističkih nauka, najbolji učesnici prethodnih BIMUN konferencija. Projekat “BIMUN 2008” realizovaće se u četiri faze: pripremne aktivnosti, BIMUN konferencija, prateće aktivnosti i projekat “BIMUN Plus” (politički dokument).

      Učesnika konferencije biće oko 160 (130 delegata i 30 članova studentskog tima i volontera) iz preko 20 zemalja.

      Osnovni cilj BIMUN projekta je da se studenti praktično upoznaju sa mehanizmom međunarodne saradnje i osnovnim diplomatskim pristupom: pregovorima, mirnim rešavanjem konflikata, dijalogom, kompromisom, konsenzusom i da shvate značaj uloge UN u savremenom svetu. Učesnici će raditi u timovima od dva delegata, koji će predstavljati izabranu državu, različitu od njihove.

      U Institutu ekonomskih nauka održaće se simulacija sednice Saveta bezbednosti UN na temu „Rizik od nuklearne proliferacije: situacija u Iranu“.
