The XIII international scientific conference

The XIII International Scientific Conference, entitled “Applied Economics Conference: Labour, Health, Education and Welfare”, held by the Institute of Economic Sciences and University of Antwerp, was officially closed on October 29, 2021. Our keynote speakers were Tito Boeri (University Bocconi) and Libertad González (Universitat Pompeu Fabra). 

For the first time, the conference was held both virtually and in person at the Institute of Economic Sciences. More than 120 authors from 26 countries participated in this year's conference, with 56 papers being presented on-site and online.  

The abstracts of presented papers are published in Book of abstracts. Authors are invited to submit their papers for publication in an International monograph and scientific journals published by the Institute of Economic Sciences: Economic Analysis and Journal of Women's Entrepreneurship and Education.
