International scientific conference “EU Project Collaborations: Challenges for Research Improvements in Agriculture”

IES Researchers, Sonja Djuricin, PhD and Olivera Pantic, Ma took part in the International Scientific Conference “EU Project Collaborations: Challenges for Research Improvements in Agriculture” held from 02 till 04 June 2014 at Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade.

Besides representatives of local scientific institutions, the Conference was attended by representatives of foreign institutes and universities who presented their work and through discussion try to find solutions for current problems in Agricultural sector. Some of the topics that were discussed at this conference are: Innovation priorities in the areas of agriculture and food science; Supporting SMEs participation and their mission to achieve innovation; EU funding opportunities for research in the area of agriculture and food science, including prospects for future actions; Brokerage Technology Network (STBN) as an important instrument strengthening the connection between science institutions and enterprises.
