On 12th June 2013, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Coface Serbia organized a conference ''EXCELLENT SME - The certificate as a development lever''. The meeting was attended by IES researchers Sonja Đuričin, Milica Kočović, Dragan Filimonović, Saša Milivojević, and Dejan Erić. The director of the Institute of Economic Sciences gave a lecture on the importance of financing small and medium enterprises and the development stages of the enterprise life cycle. The conference was also attended by Željko Sertić, President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce; Djordje Živanović, Director of Coface Serbia, Jelisaveta Georgijevska, executive director of Macedonian Chamber of Commerce, Milena Radović, SIEPA and Nataša Kecman from Serbian Chamber of Commerce, who spoke about the importance of certification for participation in international projects.
