Visit to University in Niš within Tempus Project MEUTUDES

On 23^rd May, Prof. Dr. Jean-Paul Guichard, Coordinator of Tempus project MEUTUDES, and Dr. Srdjan Redžepagić, Team Coordinator for Serbia and Deputy Director of the Institute, visited University in Niš.

On 23^rd May 2012, Prof. Dr. Jean-Paul Guichard, Coordinator of Tempus project MEUTUDES, and Dr. Srdjan Redžepagić, Team Coordinator for Serbia, talked about the realization of Tempus project MEUTUDES and its implementation, the beginning of study program with Prof. Dr. Miroljub Grozdanović, Rector of the University of Niš and Prof. Dr. Boban Stojanović, a contact person at the University.

In order to implement and operationalize activities on the project Tempus MEUTUDES, the Tempus Project Coordinator Prof. Dr. Jean-Paul Guichard, and the team coordinator for Serbia, Dr. Srdjan Redžepagić, had a series of meetings with representatives of the Faculty of Law and Faculty Economics of the University of Niš. In the presence of a large number of professors from these two universities, the current issues were concretized, and they agreed on essential elements of further steps for the successful completion of this project. They also agreed on all the details about the study program and its ongoing accreditation.

Prof. Dr. Jean-Paul Guichard, Coordinator of Tempus project MEUTUDES, Prof. Dr. Boban Stojanović, a contact person at the University of Nis on this project, and Dr. Srdjan Redžepagić, Team Coordinator of Tempus project MEUTUDES for Serbia and Deputy Director of the Institute, were the guests of TV Niš. During the presentation, which lasted about an hour, they presented the activities of the Tempus project MEUTUDES and discussed the important issues for the process of integration of Serbia into the European Union by analyzing current topics in economics, law, and political sciences.

The result of the successful realization of the Tempus project MEUTUDES is the Agreement on cooperation between the University in Niš and the Institute of Economic Sciences in Belgrade. The Agreement on cooperation between these two institutions was signed by Professor Miroljub Grozdanović, Rector of the University of Nis, and Dr. Srdjan Redžepagić, Deputy Director of the Institute of Economic Sciences, in the presence of Professor Jean-Paul Guichard, Coordinator of this Tempus project and Professor Boban Stojanović, the contact person of the University of Niš on this project. This is a significant step in the further continuation of the successful implementation of the Tempus project MEUTUDES.
