Director of the Institute-President of Jury for Award "Aurea 2012"

On 28 March, the fourth consecutive prize for the investment of the year  "Aurea 2012," organized by "eKapija" was awarded on the premises of the Aero Club in Belgrade.

This year's jury is composed of:
1. Ana Firtel, Executive Director  FIC (Foreign Investment Council),  2. Dr Ljiljana Kundaković, Director ,Fund for Innovations,  3. Dr Dejan Erić, Director  Institute of Economic Sciences  4. Marinko Ukropina, Director SGS Belgrade   5. Vladimir Medan, "Basler osiguranje", President of Steering Committee,  6. Oliver Orton, Regional Project Manager IFC (World Bank),

The main criteria for jury were: 1. innovation, 2. Social utility, and 3. Financial potential.

In addition to the above criteria, it was necessary that the investment was realized during the preceding calendar year. The selection of nominees for the final  "Aurea" award is carried out by the editorial of  "eKapija."

This year's jury chairman was the Director of the Institute, Professor. Dr. Dejan Eric. Addressing the gathering and the winners, Prof. Eric pointed out that the jury tried to identify valuable and hard work, achievements, and, above all, integrity in every aspect.

The winner of this year's award for the investment of the year is  "Winery Zvonko Bogdan." The award for innovation was given to the company "Strauss Adriatic" for innovative use of waste products for heating, and the award for Social utility was given to the firm "Delta" Kladovo for waste oils recycling system.

Verica Kalanovic, Serbian Deputy Prime Minister handed the awards. The gathering was attended by various representatives of the diplomatic corps, the business community, and media. Beside  the Director, the associates of the Institute, Mihailo Milivojevic and Sasa Djukic, also participated in this event.
