Professor Mirjana Radović-Marković honoured by election to the prestigious Academia Europea
Professor Mirjana Radović-Marković was honored by election to the prestigious Academia Europea on March 5, 2012. Professor Radović-Marković is the first woman scholar in Serbia to be honored by election to the Academia Europea.
The Academia Europea was founded in 1988 as an international, non-governmental association of individual scientists and scholars from all disciplines who are experts and leaders in their own subject areas as recognized by their peers. Members are selected by nomination from across the whole European continent. Current membership stands at around 40 Nobel Laureates.
Professor Radović's induction ceremony will take place in Bergen this September at the Academia's annual meeting.
