The life achievement award given to family of Prof. Dr. Branko Horvat

Prof. Dr. Dejan Erić, Director of the Institute, was in Lyon mid-January. He gave the award for life achievements to the daughter of Professor Branko Horvat - Branka Horvat. The award was given on the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Institute.

Professor Dr. Branko Horvat is one of the founders and first Director of the Institute who performed this function from 1958-1973. Professor Horvat is one of the most respected economists from the former Yugoslavia and the only one nominated for the Nobel Prize in the field of economics.
