On December 22nd, two new publications of the Institute of economic sciences were presented. These are “Expanded Activity of Schools and Student Cooperatives with the Aim to Increase the Quality of Education and Higher Social Inclusion of School Children: Serbia, EU Countries, and Neighboring Countries” by dr Mirosinka Dinkić, MSc Kosovka Ognjenović and MA Aleksandra Branković and “Economic Analysis of the Introduction of Roma Health Mediators in the Public Health System of Serbia,” by dr Mirosinka Dinkić, and MA Aleksandra Branković.
An introductory speech was given by prof dr Dejan Erić, director of the Institute of economic sciences. Overviews of the studies were provided by the representatives from the Government, Ms. Dubravka Šaranović Racić, Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Health, and Ms. Jelena Marković, coordinator for monitoring and evaluation in the Social Inclusion and Poverty reduction Unit, and by the reviewers, prof dr Mirjana Radović Marković, from the Institute of economic sciences, prof dr Snežana Simić and prof dr Vesna Bjegović Mikanović, from the Medical School of the Belgrade University, and Dr. Tanja Knežević, director of the Serbian Institute for Public Health „dr Milan Jovanović Batut. “ Co-authors of the studies MSc Kosovka Ognjenović and MA Aleksandra Branković briefly presented significant findings of the studies.
