On 5 April, the Institute of Economic Sciences, in cooperation with the Belgrade Banking Academy, promoted the new issue of the publication Macroeconomic Analyses and Prognoses (MAP), in presence of a large number of media.
The Director of the Institute of Economic Sciences Professor Dr. Dejan Erić, opened the meeting. He gave a brief overview of the most important developments in the economy of Serbia during 2010. After that, a coordinator of MAP, Dr. Marko Malović, presented the analysis and forecasts in the field of European integrations, fiscal and monetary policy, and public debt. Dr. Vlastimir Vuković Senior Scientific Associate of the Institute of Economic Sciences, gave an overview of trends in the banking sector, while Mr. Mark Jeločnik, Research Associate of the Institute of Agricultural Economics, gave a brief presentation on the agricultural sector.
The introductory speeches were followed by numerous questions from journalists to the MAP authors.
