KAS and Organization of the Black See Economic Cooperation - BSEC, the workshop SMEs in the Time of Global Crises was held in Tirana, Albania.
 
One of the introductory lectures at a gathering was held by IES Director - Prof. Dejan Erić on \"The Economic Situation in the Region of South-Eastern Europe with a Focus on the Impact of the Crisis in the Sector of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises\". Together with prof. Dejan Erić, as a representative of Serbia at this important meeting was Mr. Vladimir Burda, advisor in Srbian Chambre of Commerce.
 
During the gathering Prof. Erić had several meetings at which they discussed about the cooperation between the Institute and other institutions whose representatives participated in the gathering.

On the last day on 7 May, the participants adopted the conclusions and recommendations on necessary support to governments of countries of economic cooperation in the region of the Black Sea sector of small and medium enterprises in conditions of crisis. This is to ensure their survival and create a foundation for further growth and full contribution to the economies of these countries.
 
For the participants, they organized a visit to the company EVEREST IE. In the pleasant atmosphere, the kind hosts presented their management experience of small and medium business in the Republic of Albania.
