IES delegation visit to Serbian Spa and Resort Association

On 16 April 2009, the IES delegation - Professor Dejan Erić, PhD, IES Director, Ivan Stošić, PhD, Aleksandar Zdravković & Draško Nikolić visited the seat of the Serbian Spa and Resort Association in Vrnjačka Banja. The delegation had a meeting with Mr Vladan Veškovic, Secretary of the Association, and they talked about the modalities for future cooperation

The Serbian Spa and Resort Association presents the most representative body in spa development in Serbia. During its thirty-eight years of existence, the Association achieved great success in the protection, use and adequate implementation of healing factors. Today, the Association covers 26 municipalities where some spa or climate resorts could be found, 26 institutes, bureaus, sanatoriums and other health institutions, 17 enterprises and other 7 members with tendency for future extension. Since 24 May 2003, the Serbian Spa and Resort Association has been a joint member of European Spas Association – ESPA, seated in Brussels.
