Fostering Civil Society in Serbia\", was held at the IES. This initiative has been organised by Italian institute CERFE, in collaboration with IES and the Link Campus University of Malta. The seminar has been focused on the presentation and discussion of the \"Guidelines on the Management of Juridical and Non-juridical Obstacles for Civil Society\". The Guidelines have been drafted by CERFE, at the end of the PRAVOK project (www.pravok.org), financed by the Italian Development Cooperation.

The seminar was opened by Srdjan Redžepagić, PhD, Chief Executive Officer of IES. He welcomed the participants and emphasized the fact that the seminar, (by which, the two years project on civil society development in Serbia has been completed) is organized in the IES on its jubilee.

Ms Anna Zambrano, Director of Department for Italian - Serbian cooperation, presented the field of cooperation between the two states, mentioning the PRAVOK Project and its significant role for further development of democracy in Serbia.
Mr Daniele Mezzana talked about the main obstacles in civil society development in Serbia and the ways to overcome it.

The seminar „Fostering Civil Society in Serbia“, held at IES

On 16 December 2008, the seminar "Fostering Civil Society in Serbia" was held at the IES. The Italian institute CERFE in collaboration with IES and the Link Campus University of Malta, has organised this initiative.
