From 3-5 September 2008, the first meeting (out of a series of them) of the representatives from the economic faculties and business schools of V4 countries, the so-called Visegradska group (Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary) was held at the Faculty of National Economy, University of Economics in Bratislava.
The Project "Strengthening the Educational and Scientific Collaboration among Faculties of Economics within V4 and countries of South Eastern Europe" is financed by Visegrad Fund.
The Project coordinator is the Technical University of Kosice - Faculty of Economics, and the Project leader is Renata Vokorokosova, PhD.
The main goal of the first meeting was the introduction of participants, institutions presentation and basic principles defining mutual cooperation, which should last at least up to 2010.
During their stay in Bratislava, Professor Erić and Professor Brnjas, together with other participants, visited the host of the first gathering – the Faculty of National Economy, University of Economics in Bratislava. Professor Eva Horvatova, PhD - Head of the Department for Banking and International Finance and Professor Maria Klimokova, PhD, presented the program and the achievements of this educational institution in Slovakia.
