Mr. Jean-Baptiste Joly, Director of Schloss Solitude Academy, on Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at the Institute of Economic Sciences, held a lecture on cultural institutions' new strategies in the field of art, science and economy, that is, a new program currently introduced at the Academy.
Mr. Jean-Baptiste Joly was born in Paris, in 1951. He studied German literature in Paris and Berlin. Now he is the Acting Director of the Schloss Solitude Academy, founded in 1989. He is also an honorary professor at the Weissensee Academy in Berlin.
The mission of the Schloss Solitude Academy is to promote artists (mostly young generations) - based on scholarships by organizing public performances, reading, concerts and exhibitions of its students.
