The promotion of the renewed MAP edition  was held on Thursday  February 2010. A large number of media representatives, and all MAP researchers and associates attended the promotion.  

Prof. Dejan Eric, IES Director welcomed the guests and media representatives and indicated that the MAP presents a systematization of the research work of all employees in IES and BBA. The objectives of MAP are neither to improve the economic reality, ingratiating anyone, nor to disparage the achieved results. Presenting the basic structure of MAP Prof. Eric said that he tries, based on   real data analysis and scientifically based research activities to show the economic reality objectively, identify the basic economic problems and point to possible ways of solving them.

Prof. Dr. Hasan Hanić , BBA Council President  also addressed the guests. Professor Hanic is a special adviser of MAP. He pointed out to some of the most important research findings and specificities in the course of the new MAP realization.
 
BBA Professor Branko Živanović talked about research results and current developments in the monetary and financial field while Prof. Zoran Grubisic pointed to developments in financial markets.

After the presentation, the journalists had the opportunity to make questions to IES and BBA researchers and discussion continued at a cocktail.

Renewed edition of MAP

After a break of more than four years, the publishing of the MAP bulletin' Macroeconomic Analyses and Prognoses' has been renewed. MAP was published from May 1994 to December 2005. as a monthly magazine titled "Monthly Analyses and Prognoses' Every monthly issue of  MAP encompassed the results of research on current economic trends and effects of economic policy measures in Serbia and short-term forecasts of the most important economic indicators.
