Reinventing Development

Institute of Economic Sciences and European Association of Development Research and Training Institutes Bonn (EADI) organized the international scientific conference titled Reinventing Development, which was held on November 7 2003.

The objective of this conference is to provide a forum for scholars to present, examine, and exchange ideas/research relevant for development in the time to come. Aim of this event is - beside the Institute of Economic Sciences (IEN) celebration of 45th birthday - to promote the conference as an activity of EADI and IEN within the EADI EDC 2010 project initiative. This project is intended to provide a vehicle for research, dissemination and debate, a forum in which the perspectives of different actors can be shared and developed.

The conference is organized as a traditional one day conference fostering-floor discussion.
