
Božo Drašković (1954) was born in Oštra Stijena, Prijepolje (Serbia). He completed his undergraduate, master's and doctoral studies at the University of Belgrade. He graduated in 1977 from the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of Belgrade and defended his master's thesis entitled "Theoretical conceptions of the economy of the transitional period of N.I. Bukharin" in 1981. In 1990, he defended his doctoral dissertation entitled "Laws and tendencies of the economy of the transition period". He obtained the title of Research Associate at the Institute of Economic Sciences in 1991 and held the position of director from 2004 to 2006. He published numerous scientific and professional articles and was the editor of two monographs. He managed and participated in the realization of dozens of research projects in the field of company restructuring, market research, capital valuation and foreign direct investments. He teaches Microeconomics at the Faculty of Banking, Insurance and Finance, Union University in Belgrade. As a part-time associate, he teaches the course Economics of Ecology, at the Faculty of Applied Ecology Futura, Singidunum University in Belgrade.
