I National Conference

On the 13^th of November 2020, the Centre of Economic History of the Institute of Economic Sciences in Belgrade organized its first national conference under the title: "The Challenges of Researching Economic History in Serbia."

Prominent domestic experts will discuss a variety of topics related to economic history, as well as methodological and research challenges in four sessions:

1. Economic history of Serbia until the First World War – methodology, sources and studies
2. Challenges of researching the economic history of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia 
3. Understanding of economic processes in socialist Yugoslavia 
4. Contemporary methodological concepts and interdisciplinarity in the studies of economic history

Due to the current epidemiological circumstances, the conference will be held online, via the Zoom platform.
