Dejan Erić, PhD

Dejan Erić (1962) was born in Belgrade (Serbia), where he completed primary and secondary school. He graduated in 1986, received a master's degree (1992) and doctorate (1995) at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Belgrade. He worked at the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade from January 1989 to October 2005, where he served as an associate professor of Planning and Development Policy for Enterprises. He taught Strategic Management and Financial Markets in undergraduate studies, as well as Theory of Organization and Management, Financial Management in Agribusiness, and Financial Markets in master's studies.

He earned the title of full professor at the Belgrade Banking Academy in 2006. From 2006 to 2015, he was the director of the Institute of Economic Sciences. He gave lectures at several faculties in the country: Faculty of Economics in Kragujevac, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Management BK, Educons University and abroad: Faculty of Economics of the Technical University in Košice, University of Nice, Faculty of Management of the University of Turin, Economic Faculty in Podgorica, Faculty of Economics in Banja Luka, Montenegro Business Scholl and others. He held several professional positions, including member of the Securities Commission of the Republic of Serbia, member of the management boards of Atlas (Piraeus) Bank, Jubmes Banka, and Komercijalna Banka, as well as member of the Supervisory Board of Uniqa non-life insurance, among other organizations.
