Mile Jović, PhD

Mile Jović (1950-2009) was born in Pljevlje (Montenegro). He finished elementary school, high school and the Faculty of Economics in Niš. He received a master's degree by defending his thesis, "Cooperative marketing in contemporary international economic relations" and a doctorate by defending his doctoral dissertation, "International cooperative marketing-concept, approach and forms" at the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade. He served as the assistant director of the Institute of Economic Sciences (IES) from 1991 to 1992 and as its director from 2001 to 2004.

He was a professor at the Faculty of Economics in Subotica and the Faculty of Management of BK University. He taught at the Belgrade Business School and conducted postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, University of Belgrade, the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo, the Faculty of Economics in Podgorica, and the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management in Kotor. Additionally, he served as a visiting professor at several universities in the USA. He was the general secretary of JUMA, a member of the SeMA Board of Directors, a national representative in ESOMAR (the European Society for Opinion and Marketing Research), and a member of the Executive Committee of EADI (the European Association of Development Research and Training). He was a member of professional associations in the country, as well as international organizations, including the AIB (Academy of International Business), IMDA (International Management Development Association), and AMA (American Marketing Association).
