Activities presentation of the Regional Research Promotion Programme in the Western Balkans (RRPP)

On October 26, 2010 at the Institute of Economics - Local Coordination Unit of the Regional Research Promotion Programme in the Western Balkans (RRPP), the meeting on the occasion of the presentation of the activities within the RRPP and signing the Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) with partner organizations from Serbia was held.

Prof. Dr. Dejan Erić, director of the Institute of Economic Sciences and Ms. Beatrice Meyer, director of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, opened the event with the welcome address on the importance of the support for the research in social sciences in Serbia and the role of the Swiss Confederation. Furthermore, current and future activities within the Regional Research Promotion Programme in the Western Balkans (RRPP) were presented by Ms. Bojana Radovanovic a local coordinator of the RRPP in Serbia and Ms. Andjela Lalovic, a local coordinator of the RRPP in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The partner organizations presented their projects and the activities realised during the first quarter of the project implementation. The event ended with signing the MoU between the Institute of Economic Sciences as a RRPP Local Coordination Unit and the partner organizations.
