In July 2010 the Institute of Economic Sciences became a local coordination unit of the Regional Support Program to Social Research (Regional Research Promotion Programme in the Western Balkans - RRPP) for Serbia.

In order to establish the basic procedures and exchange experiences in this program, from 5-8 July 2010, Ms. Anđela Lalović, RRPP Coordinator for Bosnia and Herzegovina, visited the newly established office at the Institute The purpose of this working visit is to establish long term partnerships in the region.

Regional support for the social studies program is dedicated to improving long-term research capacity in social science in the Western Balkans, and is funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) through the University of Fribourg (CH).
