The IES researchers Ms. Bradić-Martinović, PhD and Ms. Bojana Radovanović, MPhil took a participantion in the kick-off meeting of FP7 Support for Establishment of National/Regional Social Sciences Data Archives (SERSCIDA) project.
The meeting participants were: Mr. Jean-François Dechamp from the European Commission Directorate-General for Research and Innovation, Mr. Sasa Madacki and Ms. Lejla Somun-Krupalija from the Human Rights Centre of University of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Brian Kleiner and Ms. Bojana Tasic from Data and Research Information Services, Switzerland, Mr. Hans Jörgen Marker president of Council of European Social Science Data Archives, Ms. Hilary Beedham from the UK Data Archive, Ms. Irena Vipavc Brvar and Mr. Janez Štebe from the University of Ljubljana, Social Science Data Archive, Ms. Marijana Glavica and Mr. Alen Vodopijevec from the University of Zagreb Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
The meeting was opened by Mr. Sasa Madacki from Human Rights Centre of University of Sarajevo – the organization coordinating the project and Mr. Jean-François Dechamp from the European Commission, Directorate-General for Research and Innovation.
During the first day of the kick-off meting research team discussed about the Work package operational plans related to mapping the existing potential (WP2), policy dialogue and conference (WP3), building capacities for establishment of SSDDA (WP4), and establishment of prototype SSDDA (WP5).
Being the leader of the Policy dialogue and conference, the IES team presented the operational plan for the work package 3.
